Just recently i noticed that my gas gauge is stuck at half tank. Before that my gas gauge would partially work and just read to half a tank before it stopped, now it doesnt move at all. Is there anyway of telling if its the gauge or something in the tank? Thanks

If you remove the access door in the trunk on the right side you can pull the sending unit out of the tank without dropping the tank. Most likely the contacts are gummed up and need to be carefully cleaned.

Cleaned it all up, and bent it a lil bit so it touched now, i think it worked. I would just go to the gas station and see if it works but im a lil to broke to do that, ill just drive it around see if it drops. Thanks for the info

It hurts me every time i go to the gas station, paying just about #3.15 a gallon.
But im gonna keep spending that because theres no way i would ever sell the car.

The bad part is that gas prices are going to continue to rise throughout summer time. It's gonna suck but what can you do.
