Gas door not opening!!!

One thing after another, now my gas door won't open. I pull up on the lever and it is really tough to pull up on, and it just won't unlock, is there another way of opening that son of a bitch. Im low on gas too.

have some one pull the lever up while you stick your fingers in there and pull it open..once you got it open, fuck with the little tab untill you got it right

i tried that, it aint budging, will i break it if i pull that fucker with all my might?

i got it, i just stuck a paint mixer wooden stick and pryed it open. Thanks!

Errr. In the trunk there is an access panel to get to the inside of the gas lever. If you pop that panel out and reach your arm in you can pull the cable or lever to open the gas door the right way.

did you leave the car outside and did it snow/freeze at all. that happened to me and i dumped hot water on it and it opened right up

mine was stuck like that the day i got it..

the gas gauge was on E, and i didnt have enough gas to get home...

NICE WAY TO FIND OUT, huh?

i ended up breaking the tab with a claw hammer (dont know why i had one in the car), after trying nearly everything...

i gotta fix it one of these days.

mine popped open, then i shut it and tried opening it again with the lever and it opened. Yeah i always have a problem when it is cold. Im in Chicago with whether hovering the 0 mark lol

had a feeling that might have been it. Just remember the warm water after it rains/snows
