Garret M24 turbos

So I'm hopefully picking up a set of Garret M24 turbos that are supposedly direct bolt ins for the stock 1JZ manifold.
My turbos are slowly going bad (no surprise) and I honestly don't want to go single now.
If I can get these turbos all I'll have to pay for is a new BOV (because I need one) and some hard pipes and an SAFC and i'll be sitting at 350-400 at the wheels easy.
I have a MINES ECU, full 3"-3.5" exhaust, HKS intake, and 1JZ intercooler.

I've done some searching and can't find anyone who has these turbos... Has anyone used these on their 1JZ before???

Thanks!

that definitely sounds interesting.. hmm, perhaps others will chime in. In reality though I think if anyone knew about it we would have already heard about them.

Well I'm hopefully getting the turbos for free, so they're not going to cost me anything extra.
I think if I remember it's stock 1JZ housing with steel garret wheels and upgraded bearings or something.
I'll know more later today.

How big are these things? I looked a little bit and only found one mention of them on a honda board, .48 a/r. Thats tiny.

My setup has twin gt28r's and looks bone stock. Going w/ twins is always going to cost more than going single if its done right.

If you're upgrading, yes, twins will always cost more.
These are near factory size turbo that uses all existing 1JZ parts, making the "upgrade" cost almost nothing (for me at least).
A mostly stock 1JZ is capable of putting down a lot of power when tuned right, and that's my goal. I want to be on "stock twins" with only my exhaust, IC pipes, BOV, MBC, Mine's ECU, and intake and put high 300's down... which is going to be really easy.
15-17 lbs on these steel wheel turbos with my mods and an SAFC to tune.
Heck I'm at 291WHP with simply intake, exhaust, and the ECU running stock boost levels and it's running rich.
If I were to tune it with what i've got on it right now and leave it at stock boost I could easily see 325 at the wheels or more.

All you have to do is turn up the boost and get a good tune on it. I ran 19psi daily for almost a year before my turbo went out, and it didn't even break, the oil seal crapped out. My buddy ran a 12.6 w/ stock twins and a great tune, the 350 mark isn't hard if you know what you're doing.

That's my plan!
I'm going for the cheapest "build" starting off so I can focus a lot of my time on perfecting the exterior and redoing the interior. Then I'll go big single with a 2J bottom end in a couple of years.
For now my plan is;
-These turbos
-2JZ cams
-Hardpipes
-BOV
:)
