whats everybodys thoughts on the car? like, dislike, you own/ed one? im just wondering, me personally, i love the cars... and may be getting one soon!!! so just seeing what other people have to say.

The word "Sleeper" is overused, but that's really what it is. Really, it's about the equivalent of throwing a 7M-GTE into a Cressida. The car doesn't look fast, sure, but it can get up and go.
a sleeper is exactly what i want... i was going to get a supra, but insurance... and the vr4 is a 4 door so cheaper! and the car its self i just love... and with that 4g63 engine... endless possobility's... hahaha... anybody know stock turbo?
Didn't they only make it for one year? That'd be like finding a Camry all trac or Previa all trac.

look to see that the capacitors were changed often in the ecu otherwise you'll have to deal with the ruined circuits. if i had the means, i'd totally get one.

i've been searching for the last past 2 years now,and i've only seen 4 or 5 turn up.. and they made 1000 in 90, and 2000 in 01. so yes, a very hard to find car... hahaha... and i read somewhere else about the problems in the ecu, whats that all about???

and how come you say a 91 galant vr-4 would be the same insurance as an 88 supra turbo... sure they both have turbos... but the galant is a 4 door...and the suprais a 2+2 style, and from what i've heard, the galant should be cheaper... i may be wrong though.

all you have to do is change the little capacitors and your good to go as long as they havent burst already.
There's one going for $2200obo on a local forum here and according to the owner, the car is production number 666 out of 2000.

the one in houston doesnt look too bad, and the production number is awesome! hahaha, but its still in houston... and i kind of live in california... hahaha... so yea, no can do on that one... and yea, i was talking about a galant, not a 3kgt... even though i would love one of those...

On the dubject of the 4G63, there was a guy at work this morning talking up his Eclipse. Doing an AWD swap on it, 1G head on 2G, and he was talking about doing all of this work to get it to 800hp. I'm thinking "Buddy.. first, you are gonna blow your motor up and second, a military budget isn't going to afford you 800hp".
He's one of those guys who just runs his mouth all of the time - very annoying.
