That's how it is sometimes. I was thinking about it 2 days ago. I hear it all the time from customers. "It was working fine yesterday".

I tell them, "Man made it, its gonna break".:biglaugh:

Brake, yep. At least my mind is in the correct thought process, car parts.

I was refering to how it is broke over the winter, but not repaired until it is hot out. Finding other things to spend money on besides maintenance and upkeep, which should come first.

I was a Toyota fan when they produced vehicles that weren't boring. RAV4, Highlander, 4Runner, Matrix, and other new horsehit models. Toyota is pandering to women, if you didn't know it.

It's true. Ask any AC shop and they'll tell you how business shoots up in the warmer months. Odd that people would wait because better deals on everything from parts to refrigerants can be had during the colder months.

Btw Nick, 98% of us are pandering to women in one way or another ;)

In that sense, Nick, I am a "former" Toyota fan myself!
I'm still a fan, however, so perhaps it should be "Toyota fan! as long as they're 10 or more years old."

I agree but it's all about the bottom line and what sells. It's a lot like television in that they're only giving "us" what we want. Things will swing back though, it's just a matter of time. And Toyo does make some nice luxury cars.

Off topic but I drove a 2003 Honda S2000 last night. Convertable no less. Anybody have any experience with these? I have to admit I was smitten by it.

no, i've heard they're amazing cars though, closest thing i've driven is a n/a 93 civic ex w/ a jdm b16 obd0 motor w/ around 185 hp (that's nothing like a s2000 ) but none-the-less it's crazy drivin a tiny car w/ 115 hp per litre (all motor) a guy I know also has a 93 hatch w/ a obd2 type-r motor (1.8 litre b18c5) dyno'd at 235 whp (n/a) that's NUTS, it burns the tires in 2nd gear when it hits vtec

I loved it. The gearbox alone was wonderful. Digital dash, leather, went like a scalded cat. A blast to drive. I was quite smitten with it. The guy who owned it was only 20 and I'd just met him. A complete stranger. You could tell he was proud of it and when I ask to see the car he tossed me the keys. I made him come along but it was damn nice of him nevertheless.
