Not sure what to set the Fuel pressure at...
The purpose of the A/F gauge is to... tell you the ratio of air to fuel ? You read it by, depending on how much you wanted to spend, seeing the general area that the lights go zooming through or you read the number
The power button is for your ECT (electronically controlled transmission) You can have it set to Norm - for normal driving to save fuel or PWR - for an additional 115hp~ish... Just be glad you have the Auto, huh?

Don't worry, someone will come along and tell you what to set the Fuel press at, and explain reading the AF a little better. But as far as giving you any extra hp, the PWR button does nothing, it just changes your shift points depending on how it's set.

Post that I have read say the fuel pressure should be about thirty lbs with the vacuum line ON and around forty lbs with it pulled OFF.

Which fpr did you get?

I heard if you put in a neon light in the dash, that is another 40 hp.

FYI for everybody, the ECT button changes the shift schedule, nothing more. Since the TPS and not a TV cable is used for shift timing, (cable is to raise pressure) the ECT button will delay upshift and provide a downshift on full throttle.

Bishop's post with the link is the only correct answer here ;)

Nick - Right on man! FYI...the cable does have a huge impact on how firm the shift is, espeially on an auto with a mod'ed valve body. Having it mis-adjusted can really cause a pretty harsh shift :naughty:
