I recently had a no fuel problem and replaced the fuel pump. Now the fuel is pumping up to the (what i think is) fuel pressure regulators (2 of them) that are on the fuel rail and leaks out there. (a decent amount leaks out but not terribly much). i would think there would be enough fuel to get to the fuel injectors but the car will not start unless i spray starter fluid into the throttle body. Any idea what is gong on?

Its a 1989 turbo with an automatic, 7M-GTE. Bone stock.

I'm with jj....fix those fuel leaks before going any further. You're just asking for trouble with leaking fuel.

I just finished building the car. i bought it knowing the car did not run. I'm not trying to drive the car I'm just trying to eliminate the problems a couple at a time. Its getting spark but do you know why the injectors would not work? I can't find any blown fuses and like i said the leaks are not terrible and i would think enough fuel pressure would get to the injectors.

possible bad ecm. Check if your are getting power to your injectors. than check if the ecm is grounding them. If the ecm is not grounding them it sounds like a faulty ecm
