Hi folks!

Any suggestions how to:

(1) remove the round headed stripped/corroded screws that hold down the fuel sender and charcoal canister brackets on the fuel tank?

(2) I have one stripped bolt that holds down the fuel filler pipe, and can't remove the pipe due to that one bolt.

Thanks much!

Tks. for the response! Supra90turbo - err.. sorry but how do u use that impact driver? I went to a shop today and he was going to sell me that very kit you describe, and he said to bang it on the head towards the left. But I was reluctant. Is this correct? Tks!

Yeah. You put it on the screw like you're going to unscrew it, put some tension like you're going turn it to loosen the screw, and hit the top of it with a hammer. It's a very simple, yet effective device.

Every time you hit the driver, it spins the bit a slight amount, enough to break the screw free from whatever's holding it back. I've gotten some screws out that I thought were impossible.
