where is it broken? It runs from the fuel pressure regulator to one of the hard lines running to the back of the car.

patchwork on a fuel line might not be a good idea, just my .02 Remember, fuel is flammable. Not worth the risk... and yea, its also expensive. Just get the right hose

why? and where would i find another return line? seems like its going to be a pain to swap out the lines if i was to find one.

Hmmm... i dont remember having a #2 fuel pipe on my factory fpr. regardless, im using an aeromotive fpr.

hardlines are designed to take pressure, be resistant to corrosion, and have minimal pressure loss. You throw a rubber hose over it as a patch and you can disrupt flow, increase pressure loss, and have one more thing to worry about that you shouldnt; not to mention, with these pressures and no flared ends for the hose to hug it will most likely just leak. While the flow effects may be minimal i would be more worried about leaking. Just go to the for sale section and drop the $5+shipping for the part and not have to worry about it again.....

Fuel return goes back to the fuel tank.

And is not pressurized. Rubber hose is fine (provided you're NOT using it on the pressure side), even though I wouldn't use it.

yeah, thats what i was thinking. It doesn't make any sense for a return line to have pressure (atleast not to me). Ok, i stated i have an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, how would i use the return line?

run the line from the regulator to the hard line? You should be able to get fittings and use braided stainless line to make this work. I'm using a female end on the stainless line (from the regulator) which inserts into the existing rubber return line and is clamped in place.

its broken by where the heater comes out of the firewall. Wich line out of the fuel rail? Theres the one for the fuel pulse damper, the one to the cold start injector and the one for the fuel pressure regulator. those were the only three i had befor.

The line he is describing is a supply line, the line closest to this is the Dampner supply line.

MA70, you need to identify this line specifically to get appropriate help.

no sir, you are mistaken, the line of wich i speak is the fuel return line. i got a picture on my phone that i'll upload when i get home... how do i still use the fuel return line if i have an aftermarket fpr?

Its easy, There is a return line from your FPR to bleed off excess fuel pressure. You can go on summit or jegs, and get a AN fitting, and some braided lines, or even some hard lines and a tube bender to put a hard line in there with NPT fittings. It isnt that expencive, and really isnt that difficult either. You should be able to use some of the summit loc tight lines. Basically like a normal soft hose, to a AN fitting, but you dont need to use full AN parts. Get a flare kit too, and flare your hard line at the fire wall for added slip resistance.

Bottom of the Aeromotive FPR is the return port with a AN fitting. If the crack is downstream you won't need to worry about the FPR. Rubber hose will be fine just make sure it is far far away from any heat source and sharp corners. Toyota used rubber return hose in the MK2. Cut and flare the ends to get a good clamp. If the location is doubtful, braided line and proper fitting will be best and also a peace of mind.

Ok. Thats my broken line. Its not to or from the fuel pressure damper or fuel pressure regulator. Anyone got any idea's?
