on the Fuel Pulsation Dampner should the screw on top under the plastic cover be lose or tight? Mine was all the way out and i am not sure how to put it back.
the threads on mine were all stripped and it was laying under that cover just jumblin around under there... car ran fine with it out.... up to you, really. i'm not sure that it does a whole lot, to be quite honest
It is cailbrated. It is just Toyota overdoing everything in the name of smoothness. When the injector opens, there is a small momentary "dead spot" in the fuel. The pulsation dampener keeps it more steady, so the fuel is more constant. Then the car will run slightly smoother.
