So finished putting everything back together after replacing the headgasket and upon start up the car idled at about 400-500rpms for about 45-60sec then died out. It starts maybe 1 out of every 15 times and will do the same thing. There is no response when pulling the throttle aside from one time for about 5-10 seconds it revved up. There is fuel pressure. The car ran fine aside from BHG symptoms before hand. I only got to spend about 30mins looking for a solution last night as it was already late. If anyone has some suggestions on what could be the cause it would be appreciated.

It's the cps.

Pull out the bolt that holds the cps in, and rotate it just beyond it's normal range one direction, and try starting it. If that doesn't work, adjust it the opposite direction just as much. If this method works, it means you have to pull the cps out and move its shaft one tooth, and reinsert it.
