I was wanting some input from you guys, I'm running a 2jzgte vvti with a single turbo in my mk3 but I was wondering if I should upgrade my fuel pressure regulator to an adjustable one or if the stock would be fine when I drop the mk4 550cc injectors in? Also It will be tuned on a pro efi stand alone. Just going to get tuned with those for the time being then upgrade the fuel rail and injectors for e85.

If you're going to tune it after the 550cc's are installed, get the flexibility of the AFPR as well. You never know when you might need to bump or drop static pressure.

Also, I'm not sure how well the stock FPR for the 2j rail flows but it could cause flow stability issues.

i agree. an AFPR is really nice to have, and compared to the cost of a top notch build, like yours sounds to be, its a drop in the bucket. it also makes for a very easy way to get an electronic fuel pressure gauge since there is usually an unused port on them for our single rail cars.
