Fuel Level Gauge

Are there any aftermarket gauges that will work on the factory resistance spec of the level sender? And preferably the warning light?

DOES THAT MAKE SENSE!?!?

A better question.

What is the range of the sender?

Ex: Full = xx ohms and Empty = xxx ohms.

sender is 4 ohm full and 110 ohm empty. good luck finding an aftermarket gauge that is made for that range.

I saw that programable one, I figured thats what I'd have to use. That's fine with me

Does anyone see any reason that gauge I linked too would NOT work?

Edit: I called autometer and talked to their tech support and the guy said it would work just fine. Woohoo.

yeah. im sure they both have the same internals. i just personally prefer the cobalts and C2's because they are backlit.

While we're on the subject, does anyobdy else have a fuel gauge that doesn't work worth shit? Mine when full ,it reads over full, half full reads 3/4, 1/4 reads above half, then drops to empty in about 20km.....
