Hi guys, been a few weeks since ive been on the net due to my pc dying.

I went to put some fuel in my car the other day. Bear in mind its had no fuel put into it for a good 4 or 5 months. i put agallon in and went away then came back. fuel was dripping out it looked as if it was infront of the tank centrally but a bit away from the diff. the car was probably slightly out of level as the tyres were in various stages of flatness..

i didnt turn the ignition on so the pump wont have powered up or anything. (unless it powers up when the ignition is turned to the acc position) id have thought possition 2.

does anyone have any pics of the underside of a supra in about that area?

cheers all

Paul

bah lol i started it up and the fuel tank looks like niagra falls lol... guess its the fuel lines then. i take it its a tank out job to sort this out? is the pump vissible from the underneath without droping the tank? what about the straps are they a total biatch to undo?

The straps arent hard, you will need something to support the tank while you undo them so it doesnt fall on you.

I can't fill mine up over half a gallon or it has a dripping leak. I was told by a mechanic that the top of my tank has some rust probably and that i can fix that with a patch more than likely. I still need to do that.

Could it be leaking from the union bolts on either side of the fue lfilter perhaps? It should be in that general vicinity...
