Has anyone purchased this KIT???
If so.. did it fit properly and was the install fairly simple??

My fuel setup is stock and can't seem to beat there price..

ummmm

have you priced the parts yourself?

That not withstanding, if your time is money and you are not intrested in piecing it together then you are right.

Why overkill. The norm is to upgrade to lex afm right? All the other stuff is common right.. I already have APEXi intake and custom exhaust..

I found injectors a little cheaper maybe 30 bucks.. If you know of better pricing I am more than willing to seperate the order.. (not suggesting you do it for me) Thanks though...

I am getting the head redone and hoping to use a cometic HG,ARP's and torque it down.. Upgrade the fuel and was leaning to purchase maft pro setup.. That is if the bottom end is clean.. IF I have to work the block then I might have to get the Lex AFM.. But I should be ok with the fuel stuff right??

I know that the fpr and fuel line kit is $300.00
and the walbro 255 fuel pump is 89.00
so that leaves you $410.00 for the 550 injectors. I don't know how much they are off the top of my head, but I was thinking they were a little more than that. Don't really know if this helps you any, but I tried. Good luck.

Well the reason why I say it is overkill is because the stock fuel system is up to the task of supporting any "safe" boost level that the stock ct26 can put out. You could go with just the lex afm or maftpro for now and upgrade the fuel system later. Do you already have hard pipes, BOV, better ic, boost controller, etc (stuff you really should have before you upgrade your turbo anyway). You really shouldnt need to upgrade the fuel system until your hitting fuel cut on a consistent basis and even then you could use a safc to help you reach slightly higher boost levels before buying a lex afm and 550s.

suprastores prices are expensive compared to other places. i've done my research. the fpr can be purchased for 135 at jscspeed. Then the install kit is 105 with the gauge is 40. fuck the $15 bracket. Thats $280 plus $90 for the walbro= $370. There is PTE lucas injectors on ebay with clips for $350. So save yourself some money and look around.

i bought rc injectors for $250 from a member here plus $54 for clips. i also bought the walbro for $90 with the installation kit. I'm positive you can beat that price.

Thanks for the replies.. I will look a little more for the parts.. I just wanted to make sure that I get the proper install parts. I do plan on blocking the Jtube.. I will have to find a little more about this though. I haven't seen any pics on this process..

One of the main reasons for doing the fuel upgrade is I am not sure how old the pump\filter is in the car.. Probably original..

I am getting the head rebuilt due to the valve stems leaking.. So I am going to clean the intake, block off egr and other stuff while im in the process and thought it would be a great time to replace the main harness, injectors, fuel pump etc.. while it's apart.

I thought the Stock IC is good for around 400RWHP.. is that not true??
Any instructions or pics of the jtube block off would be helpful..
