I really need to get off my ass and put in my 550's I don't know all the ternimalogy of parts to take off, but can some some put it to me on how difficult or easy would it be ?

Can I get away with just taking off the throttle body and everything that around it in order to get to the old injectors ? or does the whole intake have to come off ?

is it hard to do concidering the engin is still in the car ?

I gotta get these dam things in b4 summer is over so i can whoop some ass !!!!!

When i need to get to my injectors I find it easy to take off the throttle body and ISC along with the three lines on the fuel rail. Its a fairly easy job takes me about ten minutes or less to get to my injectors. probaly takes me longer to take out all the tools for the job then to do the job itself, but i've probaly did this job about twenty times or more on mine and friends supras

And it doesnt matter if the engine is in the car to do this job. In fact its a pretty good place for the engine so leave it where it is. :icon_bigg

you can do it with just the TB removed, however for the frustration saved by taking of the upper intake mani i think it is worth it. it really isnt hard to remove it and allows you to be a little more thorough in the removal and installation of your injectors.

by this i mean, you can be sure that the grommets are seated correctly, that you have cleaned the area well, etc etc.

im not a hardcore wrench turner by any means but this was a fairly easy job. and yeas i did it with the intake manifold still attached. hardest part was actually cleaning everything up to where i thought it looked good before installing the new injectors. i got lucky and had my buddy soilder on the new clips though (i hate wiring!)
