Since I bought my car the fuel gauge has been stuck at the full mark as high as the needle goes. My fuel light still turns on when its low on gas but its getting annoying looking down and finding it on, and freaking out about how long its actually been on. And common fixes for this? thanks much!

If the gauge is grounded out, it will show as full. It is either the gauge or the sending unit. Look on the bright side... based on your gauge readout, you are getting the best MPG than anyone here on the forums :D

You have to get at the sending unit (in the tank) and unplug the harness on top of the tank. With the key in the on position, if the gage stays showing full, then the gage if bad. if the gage dropped all the way down, ground the wire to the sender and see if the gage goes to full. If it does, the sender is bad.
