:nono: I think my fuel filter is cloged recently it makes all the noises like its going somewhere but dont and at about 4 grand it just revs up very slow under a load and bogs a little around 5, where is it located? Also I turned the air screw on the intake counterclockwise out like posted on the bord but I didnet notice any difference in FC is that possible? I put a boost controller on and ran the lowest setting and I get cut =( anyway im sure somone knows where the FF is located thanks -- Eric

I know it's a little extra work, but the last time I had to change mine (while laying underneath), I removed one of the axles and it made it mush easier to get around in there (worth the extra step). Also, don't forget to pull the EFI fuse and crank the car for a few seconds... will virtually empty the fuel line and make it much less messy, when you start to pull the lines away from the filter. Good luck!

Before you go and try the fuel filter, however... what you have sounds more like boost leak, which would explain why the screw makes little difference. Have you checked your intercooler pipes for cracks, and your couplers for splits?

especially the intercooler pipe right off the bottom of the turbo. it's prone to cracking due to excessive heat exposure:)

yes, this helps a lot, when i did mine i thought cranking it over for 30 secs would do the job, but didnt. It helped but i still lost about 2 liters of fuel. but now that grim said it sounds like a boost leak, well thats out of my league, i dont have a turbo, :(, have fun removing that thing if it is the fuel filter.
