Fuel Door

Whats the best way to adjust the latch for the fuel door, I'm thinking it is behind the release for the fuel door.:1zhelp:

Unless its been messed with it probably just needs lube.

Just shove a garage door opener under the lever, grab a quarter or something to bring with you and pry that sucker open. That's how I roll.

I think (but I'm not positive) that it's not adjustable. I'm pretty sure I checked both ends for adjustments but there weren't any.

IIRC there's a slight adjustment at the fuel door side.
If there's not, and the cable won't pull far enough, just buy a new cable. Chances are it's stretched pretty far from someone pulling on it too hard, too often.

my cable was streched on mine...well...still is really...

I ended up taking a double cut bastard file to the end of the nubbin that sticks into the slot on the fuel door so that the cable doesn't have to be pulled as far

thx, i think i will try the adjustment at the door then if that doesn't work i think i will just cut the wire and reconnect it

thats what im talking about, i usually just fold the mat under the lever

It prob got bent. I had to take mine off and bend around on it until I got it to open and close good
