Fuel cut....

So i finally got the 1JZ swapped into my supra, i go out for a test drive and the thing drives solid!
Great spool, lots of power, acceleration, then i put it in third....
The motor bogged down big time, like it was flooding. I took it back and tested all coils, relays, and noticed once i get to 2700 RPM i get fuel cut...

What the heck???

Any of you guy's know what it might be????

Driftmotion IC/ 2.5 pipes, 3in y-pipe back, walbro fuel pump, hks BOV... Thats it

Are you using the stock 1JZ map sensor and the stock Vacuum routing?

Yeah, you're good. I was just making sure. I have pretty much the same mods and I don't hit fuel cut.

Do you have a boost gauge? What does it read when you hit cut?

The problem was solve when i unpluged the ecu, then pluged back:icon_razz

On another note: what is your next mod going to be???

Have you had your ECU Checked out and touched up also make sure your not throwing any codes?

I had swaped the ecu with my buddies 1jz and we both had no problems, nor codes....:biglaugh:

I have lots of things to fix on my car before I make it go faster. But, next step for HP would be something to tune with IMO. I plan on going E manage blue down the road. Cams would be soon after as well.
