I was wondering if anyone else hits fuel cut in their stock 1jz. Stock everything cept 3" ex from turbo to tail. I hit fuel cut at 6500-7000 rpm in 3rd gear @ about 13-14 psi. just wondering if thats normal.
Oh yeah I burnt a 328i today, i know it's no comparison and off topic but it was funny to see this guy trying against me:evil2:

Yes I hit violent FC at about the same range but it doesnt always happen. Once im out of paint, I want to start tuning so I dont hit FC because it seems that not everyone has the same issues. But FC does happen at 14psi or 1 Bar.

yeah it doesn't happen with mine all the time either just sometimes but it's fucking annoying. I have an SAFCII but its untuned. I'm gonna do that after injectors. You think a FCD would help?

yea my buddy was running an open stock dp was hitting 11 psi.. put on a full 3" exhaust and was hitting fuel cut.. Tune your afc and you'll be fine and wont hit fuel cut.. plus you'll gain some power as well!

yes indeed i did. 11psi on open stock DP

we finished the 3 inch DP and i was hitting 13-14 psi Fuel cut everywhere,

then we finished the WHOLE exhaust and fuel cut EVERYWHERE. and then we hooked up the e-01 and emanage blue and put a clamp on the air flow signal and i hit fuel cut around 17psi now..

EBC set to Off im still seeing spikes of up to 17.3 psi on cold nights.

Chinaman y-pipe, 3" exhaust, I hit FC if it was about freezing, other then that, it would be about 12psi above 5k.

After I put on my Crower 272 small cores, the boost dropped to 10psi when warm, and about 14 when cold outside... for a while, then my computer re-tuned it's injector pulsewidths to the new cams, and I hit fuel cut at anything above 5k. It sucked.

So I just raised the fuel cut :)

Flow testing would be best for any used injectors but the price of flow testing is close to market value of the injectors themselves. So if I'm not gonna use them, I don't wanna flow test them then sell at a loss.
