i just installed my bic ddp, a test pipe, and IC piping, can i hit fuel cut already, or is somehting else going on, ( there is somewhat loud popping sound the rpms drop a bit and the cehck engien light comes on) ???:1zhelp:
I had the same mods and the same thing happening. There is a good chance its being caused by a boost leak though. While I was tearing my car apart I noticed the intercooler had a dent in the top and was filled with RTV. I have a feeling that I had a leak there. Check for leaks, if there are none, you need a boost controller and set it just under fuel cut 11-13psi???? I've read it varys car to car and is also affected by climate...
its pretty nice out, and i may have a boost leak, i need a reducing coupler for my ic pipes, but cooleze just sent me regular coupler so i had to crush the hell out of it to get it to fit, um i do have a boost controller.....maybe i should install it...
wel thanks kwnate, i did have abosot leak and for now i fixed it ( upper ic pipe coupler needs to be reduced tho..), and i backed out the screw and now its runnign like a charm, i really need a boost gauge tho... ,
