I'm having a problem of hitting the fuel cut out when I shift from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd other wise it never hits it.I'm only boosting 8psi on the stock gauge.I've installed a turboxs boost controler and thats when I started having problems.but only when I shift, and its only for a split second and then its fine.:1zhelp:

The stock gauge only reads to 8psi so chances are your boosting alot more. Get a real gauge. You probably shouldn't be messing with a boost controller if you can't monitor how much your running. Fuel cut is doing its job in this situation, stopping you from running lean and destroying your engine.

I have a fully ported head with a hks 1.2mm headgasket, arp headbolts,Turbo xs boost controller,3"exaust from the manifold and a cold air intake.I'm only boosting 8psi on both my gauges. After the fuel cut out hits for a split second it still goes and builds 8psi until I shift again.

sounds like a boost spike. try turning the boost down a touch and see if it still cuts. When you installed the boost controler has the weather gotten colder? cool air = more dense and that makes it more prone to fuelcut.

I'm not sure but I'm thinking a boost spike also,It happens so quik that the gauges don't have time to react so it dos'nt show more than around 6psi when it happens.I can accel slower and it doesn't happen.I put new hose on when I installed the controller, the hoses are about 2 feet long. Was wondering if the controller is bleeding to much air and thats why its spiking? The air temp is with in 10 degrees of when I first put it on a few days ago.It never worked right from the first time I tried it.Was wondering if a electronic boost controller would work better and not let it spike?or if a blow off would help the problem? Also is there a way to elimanate the fuel cut out or to move it to a higher psi?I under stand its there to save the motor in case of a over boost but what can a guy or gal do if they want to boost like 16psi.

you said your hoses are 2ft long. thats your boost spike right there. you need to have your hoses as short as possible so yu can keep the boost undercontrol. try shortening the hoses esp if its a pneumatic. A electronic boost controler can control/hold boost more level (compared to pneumatic) but if the hoses are too long then you may still get wavy boost or spikes.
