FT-86 could it be the supra replacement!?

so there is talk of the Ft-86 (2.0 flat 4cyl produced by SUBARU) with 6speed, could it be the mk4,ae86,and celica replacement!? I think its a 350z or 370z remake or competitor with smaller engine. not as stylish as the orginal MK3 or powerful as MK4 but its better than a PRIUS. PRIUS just so happened to take place of sports cars in toyotas production line, and the mr2 design is a$$ backwards to this generation, FF vs MR. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO TOYOTA!? :3d_frown

WTF? If anything this would kill off/ replace the scion TC as toyota contiunes to use the brand to chase the "tuner" market. The car is clearly designed to compete with autos such as the hundai genesis coupe as more companies attempt to penetrate multiple target markets to gain a broader marketshare.

ugh, toyota has started taking up social security and got out the rocking chair apperentally. only kewl cars out are the gas hog, and heavy under engineered domesticated muscle cars. im sick of seein mustangs everywhere. toyota only has planet friendly 4dr famliy wagons now, no more TURBO cars either. not even on diesels......

not 100% sure but, there are more cars that might have turbo and better cars, but the problem is that, the US dont allow those cars in here, like the toyota aurion, its a very nice looking car but not allowed here, and theres the corolla hatch, but again like you said no more turbo, most of it cause of safety and emissions. but im sure i seen some where that the ft86 is the similar of the AE86, and that the FT86 has the 2.0 and a 1.5 motor.

ugh...i hate when gov ppl think that they know better, there are so many restrictions on cars that its not funny(r34 skyline for example) but as far as body styles go. what happend to cool lookin cars that where NOT 4 dr. 2dr now are econo cars "gutless!"

Btw, new rumors about the car that I've recently come across: will be available for 2012 model year, and Toyota's G Sport series will only be available in Japan. The G Sport FT-86 was the turbo version :3d_frown:

We will never see flip-ups again. Turning them on negates all the time and money invested in getting the coefficient of drag of the car as low as possible.

Also daytime running lights in many states and Canada. Popups are basically dead.
