Looks like a nice unit.

Please don't take this the wrong way - why wouldn't someone spend the extra 10% and buy a brand new one? $40 is pretty cheap for customer support, warranty, and brand new in my book.

This one is still under warranty. I bought it just a few months ago. I can provide the paypal jawsgear transaction information if needed. :icon_bigg

Practically brand new. The bolts and nuts alone were $15 from Napa which were not included with the driveshaft (you will get these when you buy my ds); you cannot use the stock ones because they are too short.

Locals can pick it up for $390!

Don't know how much stronger it is, but I know it's about 11 lbs, stock driveshaft is around 25-30 lbs. You should contact jawsgear for how much power it can handle, but i'm sure it'll hold 400+ hp.

There is a dramatic feel with it in, the supra feels a lot lighter and moves way faster past 80mph. 80-120 took 3 or so seconds... in my car anyway.

If you buy it, just pick it up since you are kind of a local.

Took a look over at Jaws Gear's web site and found one thing that worries me "No garuntee against vibration in this aftermarket application."

Did you feel any vibration with it installed? Why are you selling it?

-Dave <--- still interested...

There was resonation at 65mph, but any speed below or above the resonation went away. You can feel the u-joints if you want, there is no play. Make all the measurements you want, weight it, and bring a straight edge if you like. :naughty:

I talked to a few guys on this forum about it with the same shaft and they have the same resonation. I believe this is one reason why toyota decided to go with a 2 piece design. If you never drive at a steady 65 mph, you'll never notice it.

Let me know. I was planning on buying a celica supra with the money, but since no one is really interested and the celica supra I was looking to buy is already sold, I'm going to put it back in my car winterbreak.

Just bought one brand new a month ago, loved it.
Straight as an arrow, no vibration.
My car was 100% stock and you can feel the difference in the drivetrain immensely.
