Pully & front covers & cambelt then remove timming gear with correct bolt type pulley replace $5 seal and reasemble http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/library/TSRM/em/EM_22.html

I just replaced a timming gear due to front edge working loose dont leaver use a bolt type puller

Make sure that you put your cam seals in as well. The people that did your head work probably didn't install a the cam seals. Hopefully you did............lol

Just did belt and seals last month. Quickly...2 hrs, start to finish.
(of course I had done it before, so I knew every bolt & step in the correct order).

Casually, (don't drink too much beer :biglaugh: ), 3-4 hrs.

I did not have to remove radiator or coolant. The dampener came of easily using 2 big screwdrivers, and prying / walking it off. Used big breaker bar and 19mm x 1/2dr socket, positioned it securely, then hit the key for 1 second to remove the bolt. Be sure to pull wire off coil first.!!!!

Hardest part is the 2 bolts on the A/C bracket on the side of the block. Hard to reach and get them loose. Compressor will lay out of the way, leave it attached to the bracket.

Make sure your tensioner is good, as I had to order one.

The two seals are in this diagram, 2nd from the bottom:
http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/library/TSRM/em/EM_93.html

The lower is the crank seal, the oil seal is above & to the left.

Adam - it was good to hear you got the motor running (even for a short time), but you gotta start reading the TRSM when working on this. Replacing the two seals is a 3-4 hr job. Use Permatex #4 on the outside edge, oil on the insde edge to help them slip in...don't bend the seals.

If you have not replaced your timing belt, now would be a very good time to do it. You will have to remove it to get to the seals.

If you follow the TRSM procedure for replacing the timing belt, you will be able to get to the seals. It will lead you through pretty much everything you need to do, except replacing the seals themself.

Sorry for the confusion. It only took me 2 hrs because I have an after market electric fan. So there is no fan or shroud in the way. That R&R will add time to the job.

But after you do it once, you'll see that its easy.
