Does anybody know if it is possible to put a larger turbo on my 7m-GE?

That would be impossible with your setup because 7M-GE's already have the largest intake manifold ports and I doubt the bearings in the wheels can take the exhaust pressure before boost crap flew out the hood.

I have a guy who may be offering very nice ones to the mk3 community in the short runner version soon.

I'll have pics up when mine is done. Pricing will be similar to rons, but the intake will have custom runners instead of stock ones and a slightly larger plenum.

hm.. i always start problems on this forum.. But anywayz.. i've seen front facing manifolds, i belive less piping .. better flow .. quicker throttle response.. the 2jz has a front facinh manifold for that reason !

thank you for your answers ;) What stuff would be needed to convert to FFIM? Throttle body is a must, but what else?

Not a must ... just a 'might as well'.

Musts include (but not limited to): throttle linkage, isc re-engineering, egr re-engineering, wiring, chargepipe re-route (which usually means battery re-location), alternator drop-down ... that's all I can think of at the moment - anyone else?
