Front facing intake manifold

I am interested in making my own but I don"t know where to get the material. I know that we use our stock runners but what about the two style plenums that I have seen , where is the material coming from:1zhelp: Help unleash the beast:evil2:

look at the many different constructions. Some use a large diameter aluminum cut in half so you can weld the runners on the inside then port n polishm then the halfs are re-welded. Other people weld a flat plate on to the runners first, port n polish it then work on a rounded chamber.
