is there any way to get a front facing manifold for a 7mge any of you guys have one ??

You could do this, as its the same block and head and everything, but for the money you would spend on a FFIM for a 7mge, you could go turbo.

7mge + FFIM = still a 7mge

money spent on defiant's = money that could've been spent any way he liked, even going the turbo route. to each his own, but most go turbo and then add a FFIM

You would lose power all across the board. The only reason to do it is you are pushing so much boost that the volume of the plenum and runners is inaddequate. And then all you are doing is shifting the power band higher in the rev range. A secondary reason is intercooler routing length.

that and side feed intake flow more = then ffi in less it is boosted and it helps some for even out the air flow

asics is on the na manifolds not turbo ones. not on the turbo. yes you will see gains from going ffim, they wont be as big as if you had an upgraded turbo but there will be some gains. just got done with mine :)

Err hmm... Guys, it's "ACIS" for Acoustic Control Induction System. Try searching for ASICS and you'll end up with lots of hits for shoes! :)

Yep, that's me! Actually I only said it because of the search thing. I tried to look up ASICS one night and couldn't work out why there was nothing to do with Toyota anywhere. It was only when I searched for "toyota variable intake" that I found out it was ACIS!
