I won't say yes or no but do remember that the tubo is the cause of most of the heat so it probably won't be as spectacular as ur hoping but hey, to each his own

It absolutely has an effect. Hell, you can see an improvement from just cramming carboard in around the air filter to prevent hot air from the engine bay from entering the intake.

Stock setup does basically the same thing, sucking in air from behind the headlight instead of pulling from the engine bay.

I'd love to see someone build a CAI kit for the Mk3 and market it. I'd buy one. One of these days I'll lose patience and just build my own.

why dont you take out the fog light and put it right there thats waht im planning on doing.....? thats how i had it on my prelude and it kept everything cool....but its a bitch when it rains you have to be careful of poddles...i think i spelt it right....:biglaugh:

That's close, but it's too specific to work for what I want. It still requires that you run the AFM, which I've long since dropped for a MAP system, and it uses the hole behind the headlight, which I'm currently using for the intercooler hardpipes.

What I'm looking for is a way to wall off that section from the engine bay.
