Freeze plug replacement

Just wondering if anyone knows a good way to get to the freeze plug on the drivers side of the block under the intake manifold without removing everything above it. I seems like around the plug is pretty open, just right above it you have the intake manifold, fuel lies, coolant bypass hoses, and other junk. Does anyone know a good way of getting to that plug without removing all that stuff?

its no fun

youre better off taking the intake manifold and everything else off to get it out of the way.

even if you get it out without taking everything apart, you have little chance of knocking the new one in there correctly with all that stuff in your way.

ask me how i know.
