If anyone has a free supra, I want it. Just let me know where I can pick it up and I'll come and get it. Who wants to give me one of the greatest cars on Earth?

a free supra would most likely be the biggest POS supra around...unless the 'giver' is nice/dumb...

you may want to save up some money and get you a decent supra in the $800-$1300 price range. they ARE out there, and some are actually nice after a little TLC.

My nephew found an 89 5 speed non turbo targa for 1grand, bone stock in amazing condition. The car is hard to find but usually sold on the cheap unless its like a turbo. I paid 3grand for my 91 targa turbo automatic (wish it was 5 speed) and it had rust and ripped seats.

For like a grand I bet you can find a decently running N/A. Getting a free one usually means getting one that doesnt run. (engine is blow, tranny is shot) and you will be paying more to fix it than actually buying a decent running one. Either way good luck on the find!

I have a 88 silver non turbo here.

Its gutted. No, I repeat NO INTERIOR.

Exterior is still complete.

Sun roof.

Two spots of rust on the rear fenders.

Needs some of the exterior molding.

Comes with a blown NA motor and a W58 trans.

No title.

Bill of sale only.

You'll need wheels to roll it around.

Definitely worth saving.

$250 + you come get it.

I will NOT POST PICTURES just to tire kick. Either you want it or you don't.

^^ Unless hes going to put a mk4 engine in it, the cost of getting an interior, wheels and rebuilding/replacing the messed up engine would cost the same if not more than just laying a grand or so for an already running supra and doesn't have to deal with the stress and tune time. Especially if hes not a mechanic.

For asking for a "free' supra shows he cant afford any for sale. If he cant afford a running supra I don't think he can afford bringing a shell to life.

But outside of the T/C if you're a grease monkey and want to build a great mk3 with custom interior, stagger rims and stronger engine, MDC shell is a solid deal since you don't have the hassle to remove most of the stuff and the body is good to go.

Also T/C check on eBay, theres usually mk3s for sale on the cheap there and if your lucky its locally. It wont be "perfect" but most of them run. Heck you can find a BHG supra for around 500 usually and its less funds to make it run than an empty shell. Just trying to help out. Good luck with your search!

If you can't afford to buy the car, you sure as hell can't afford to own the car. This is a dumb thread. It's not like Mk3 Supra's are expensive.

Free Supras FTW!

I've gotten 4 freebie mk2s, and 3 have ran great! I'm still on my last freebie but the engine is tired so she's going to get a new heart soon. Should have around 170whp when I get done and will be into her under $1,000. Muahahah.

If your looking for a free 98 Quicksilver, forget it. If your looking for a used up shell for a future project, look in our "For Sale" forum. Another thing you can do is write "PM me if you have a cheap, shell or running supra" in your signature. (Or something to that effect.) Looking for a handout in your intro isn't going to get you very far.

Hey I only paid 900 for a running (on 5 cylinders) 87 turbo decent interior tiniest bit of rust.
But after tune up and replacing the nonexistent exhaust it came to about 2700 or so.

It did need a radiator though but thats not too bad. And the console cover. But who can argue with free, running and driving
