ok, so ive been looking around the suspension threads and they dont seem to really get to a specific point.
so, just to get a straight answer ill try to be a bit specific (and hopefully IJ will answer me as usual).
first, on one other post a user mentioned some TRD struts (which i had never heard of either). there's also the illumina II's that are TEMS compatible. then there's some KYB's that i found at a toyota shop here in PR that say that they are compatible with the TEMS on our cars.
right now i have some KYB's that are about to die, but at least the car is stopped.
i have heard the tokico's run out quick but that they are good quality. no idea on the TRD's and my KYB's were pretty good without the TEMS. i dont want an expensive suspension cuz 1) dont have the budget for it right now and 2) PR has really bad roads and i dont plan on taking the car to the track that often (maybe once every 2 or so months?).
so anyone got some straight answers or other options?
of course, when i start moving the car again, if i get some extra cash and the shocks can last a year more, ill just wait and opt for the TEIN SS kit.....
