i was looking on 935 at an FPR and then i saw a thing called a fuel fitting supra rail inlet, and it says that it converts it to a -6AN.

well now i'm lost and the next upgrade i'm doing is afm/550/fuel pump and a FPR. so i need to learn asap.

didn't want to sound like a newbie but i dont care. i just want to understand. thanks

aftermarket FPR's are not installed "on" the fuel rail like the stock one, so the fitting allows a line to run from the new FRP to the fuel rail.
