I just bought a new FPR for my supra, and haven't installed it yet. I just went to a website to browse parts, and it says that i need a blockoff plate in addition to the FPR? Says it redirects fuel to the tank? Anyone know anything about this and if i need it? If i dont need it, what advantadges does it carry?

ok if they are talking about the j-tube you dont NEED to get a block off plate. you can just run the rubber return line right from the FPR to the hardline at the frame.

words of advice: if youre gonna mess with the fuel system now, probably the most important thing to get out of the way first, especially with such old cars is the fuel pump. 100 bucks for a walbro and youre set. do it now if you havent already. dont learn the hard way.
