The shop is currently finishing up the machining, but I have to wait until monday to order the internals. This stuff is only half the stuff that will be coming in within the next couple of weeks :).

It has been a while since I made this thread, forgot to update it :p.

I got the short block (wiseco/eagle/arp/clevite) and head (rebuild + 5-anlge valve job) back from the shop today. I am very excited, but I still have one more final for college left, so no working on it til after the final :aigo: .

Edit: I will also get some pictures of the engine bay since I repainted it (looks 10x better than before). I want to work on it so bad... stupid finals.

Wow, I forgot completely about updating this thread.

Well, I got it running this last weekend. It has 300 miles on the new engine already. Runs real smooth, just need to do some more heat shielding/escape and get all my IC pipes bead-rolled.

I'm going to have it painted sometime within a year (maybe even this summer). It's a stock super white right now. The pictures above were taken before I was dumb and left masking tape around the engine bay for a little while (killed the paint under the tape). Also my paint job that I did with spray cans on the passenger fender (temp. fix last year) finally faded out to show more of a difference. I definately want to keep it a white color. I might go with a bright pearl white of some sort.

There isn't much more that I added to the mod list, although towards the end of the summer / fall I am going to get a fuel tuning combo (maft-pro and a wideband) later on will come the bigger injectors, fuel pump, FPR, etc.

I'm stuck in Texas with no digital camera, so pictures will come later.

The passenger side fender is a little bad, repaint coming.

I am going to smooth out that connection where the upper IC meets the straight piece. Also the cold start is disconnected / plugged up.

I mounted the intercooler at an angle kinda like how the stock one was mounted, it worked out very well (the stock under cover almost fit with it and the pipes).

I'm going to wash it when I come back to Norman (I washed it here, then took it for a drive out to the lake :p). I'm going to put in a blacked out screen behind the stock bumper so my fins wont get annihilated.
