Yes alot of the IRL racing officials have those because they can provide you with real time data display. Cheap way of having a laptop....

Your PC is a video game system, depending on what programs you happen to be running. I wouldn't worry about using a gameboy as much as would worry about the integrity of the software that's used on it.

i think the bigger idea behind it is the point that you dont need the g.b. pluged in all the time and ya save a little space by having a smaller device to work with and ya really dont have to worry about fat fingering any keyboards.

I believe i was watching indy car a while back and they were talking to a crew chief that had a gameboy in his hand. Now it all makes since, i thought it was some special thing frome nintendo.
