well i was driving home from work and a supra caught my eye, and i went up to look at it, it is a pearl white, NOO RUST watsoever, targa, turbo, tems, auto=(, and burgandy interion, the interior is a little beat, it is a 90 with the sawblades, but over all the car looks excelent, i am not quite shure, but i think it might have 189k miles=(, but they want 2500 for it, what do you guys think about it, do you think it is a good buy? and i am not shure if it has a bhg or not, i have not had a chance to test drive it.

Test drive it, look at the engine, and listen to the noises and then post back with those impressions. We'll be able to tell you then. But for 189k miles with a beat interior, 2500 is pushing it...

this really sounds like my car. WHen i baught it it had 185K on it. White exterior, burgandy burgandy, auto, targa, and some rust. I got it for 1500 guy wanted 2500. I could have gotten less but thats a deal for me.

Be confident. Look over the car like crazy. If there is anything out of the ordinary bring it to his attention. When i looked under the hood of my 89T i told the guy does he have a fan shroud cause i didn't see one. He thought it didn't have one from the factory. That knocked the price down an easy 200 just from talking. Ask if the trans is in good shape. Start her up in the cold. Let her warm up, test drive for about 30 min on the highway or so. Check for noises. Rev it up in park. Pull the E-B to see if it works.

Check it over like if you were buying a new GF!. Check the oil, coolant, trans fuel. Asked him if the Timing belt & water pump has been changed. then the fuel filter. then if it has a tune up. The list keeps on. You can knock him down with all those questions. If he says yes to try to keep it off topic ask him for proof. Recepits. Old parts. New parts boxes if he did his own work.

Also get the VIN and run a carfax.
