Check this out.

I found it in my endevours to find a new down pipe after returning the other one i bought.

I thought i would mainly put this up for people still looking for down pipes. The Stock y-pipe does not look that bad to me for flow. But i ain't no expert lol

Thats ok the other y-pipes and down pipes i have seen availible have non either LOL

i know its not the best thing but hey.

Thanks for the info 935. Did you get that PM i sent you?

I guess your right. But the one y-pipe that i had and have seen was not great at all.

i would like to see a better design for the ypipe hooking op to a DP for the stock location. I bet it could be done. I thought that turbulance was only really a bad thing before the intake mani. and from the head to the turbo exducer. If you have a free flowing pipe. would the Turbulance really cause that much of an issue? woudl it cause back pressure?

I know there are people using those upgraded ypipes but I've never read a review about them with details about the differences they experienced. I wish someone would post something like that so we could all know.

Of course it's an issue, especially when you are dealing with hot expanded exhaust gases, and why a set of headers on a V8 makes so much power when you replace the stock log type manifolds.
