Like the title says the format war is over and blu-ray won. Toshiba said they had no chance to win after Warner jumped ship, Plus they said this decision is better for the consumer. For all those that were waiting for a clear winner before they bought there player, the time is here. And surprise surprise, Sony finally made a winning format.
