Foreseeable problems with ct20s on a 1jz?

Well, I've decided to ditch the single thing and possibly try a new route, putting CT20s on a 1jz. According to Tissimo and Reaper, it looks as though I would need to stretch a bolt hole to make the turbos fit onto the 1jz manifolds.
I would be able to use the aristo oil lines and might be able to adapt the 1jz water lines to be able to use them with the CT20s. Custom intercooler piping, intake (I would try to do an individualized intake setup where each turbo had its own source of air) and probably a custom y-pipe for the exhaust would be needed (I'm hoping that I can use my greddy DP with whatever is put together). I have a set of MKIV 550s, but will probably go to the Aristo 440s to begin with and once power levels demand it, go with the 550s. I would be running these in a TTC.

Issues that I might run into:
Possibly need to bang the firewall back a little bit to fit the rear turbo.
The 1jz manifolds might not flow enough air for the twins.
My bill with Slow66 would not be a small one.

Positives:
Origional (I have only heard of someone using USDM CT12s)
Low cost of parts (CT20s can be had for cheaper than a t-61)
More power than stock twins.

Is there anything else anyone can see that would be a huge negative? Please, no Single would be easier comments.

dang im actually talked about in a thread. AWESOME! haha

the other thing you will need todo on top of opening up a bolt hole for the turbo to fit is a custom y-pipe.

the 1JZ's looks like its too wide from one turbo flange to the other. you might be able to shave down the flanges a little on each side until it slides in place. if not then you just need to hack the flanges off and custom wled in the y-pipe.

other than that it sounds like it'd work.

IMO i would stay single or go upgraded twins like BIC if you really wanted twins.

I say do it, and keep it as stock looking as possible. I've grown up around street racing, and running the 12b's that I have is like running a hidden nitrous kit. People don't even give them a second look.

You're going to have to use TTC(obviously). So expect not to have full boost until around 4k.

Sounds like good gas mileage to me. Like you told me a long time ago " Power is a downshift away"

I thought they had a slightly bigger hotside?
Slightly bigger than what? Bigger than a CT12A, yes they are. Bigger than a CT12B? I'm not sure.

My friend tuned an aristo running stock sequential setup. That thing was making 7psi by 1800 rpm. Not many MKIVs can do that.
