Forced to use Fuel cell anything I should know.

Well, I did just get my 92 teal supra, and well the back trunk is cut out :nono:
I got a fuel cell with it, and I need a fuel pump, I am wodnering what kind I should get? I would like something better then stock only because when i do go further with the build I don't want to replace it. I guess Ill need a out of fuel tank fuel pump. Also I am not sure what lines run the fuel pump and sensor for the gas gauge, it seems there are wires in the back I think 3 one is white that was cut so i do believe there was a connector on it, but anyhow...

I will need to make a support so I can mount the cell then weld in sheet metal around it, pic's will be up soon, along with my build thread to give you all a better idea..

Right now I wam going to keep a stock turbo and run 9-10 pounds of boost, on everything stock, so the car will be able to handle it and I am not always in boost all the time so I am sure it can handle it.

I would like to just make about 500 Hp out of the car when I am finished but for now I just want the car to run, Sadly I am trying to find a [ 91 92 ] 5 speed Engine Harness I really need one, and I am left with 1 option right now and that is to buy a new one, so if anyone has one or know* of someone that has one, please let me know, thanks for your time everyone!!!

I would suggest using the "Search" option here-fuel systems and read every
thing that you can to get some foundation for what you want, also check the
Aeromotive web site to get very familiar with what products are available
and then plan what you think you want to do. I thought about a cell once,
that cost isn't too bad, the cost of plumbing one correctly with all the fittings
can get very expensive.

Check that the Foam is suitable for the Gas you plan on using.....

The foam inside is blue and I am not sure if a certain fuel is suppose to be used? I thought maybe it was there for splashing but I am again not sure. I will be using regular 92 octane gasoline in the car.

I will be working on the cell soon, I have to order a 92 harness, it may take a little bit to get it, I will also be sanding off that minal rust you can see in the rear carrier. have to keep everything clean ^^

Yep it's there to prevent slosh but ethanol enhanced fuels have made things "difficult"... "some" foams disolve in it.

Yes the bundle that comes from the right rear corner are for the fuel system, gauge, low fuel light,pump.

Fansastic, liek I said I am very glad I did get this car, and it needs a little thing like that done, but I think it's worth the time to build a good car, it looks like I am getting my 62 trim turbo soon as well for this, so that is another exciting thing. I hope to see this up and running soon, thanks again.
