first of all, why is there coolant lines to the stock tb and isc? this has always troubled me....
second of all, what do we do when running a q45, i believe the ports on it are for vac, not coolant, and also is there any special way that i need to route the vac ports on the q45(that is if they are not to be used for coolant...) any imput will be greatly appreciated, thanks

There are coolant lines to the TB and ISC to keep them at operating temperature. (If you live in a very cold climate, this is helpful)

When running a TB with no coolant lines, you can loop them. (Loop from the small pipe at the back of the head around to the nipple on the lower intake manifold)

Another thing, using vacuum ports for coolant isn't exactly possible. ;) Think about it and you'll realize why.

As for routing the vacuum ports on the Q45 TB, use them as you'd use the ports on the stock TB, providing you still have the items in your engine bay that the originals operated.

He is right the lines are to keep your tb and isc from freezing in cold climates. If where you live doesnt get that cold then you could easily get away with looping the coolant lines.
