As most of you know i had a shitty experience with carfasion, for those of you with shineauto bomex kits, how is the quality? do the sides fit on perfect? Any raw pictures from when u got the kit so i can see the quality before u added ur own paint? I just want to make sure these sides are top notch before i dish out $330 for them

You don't need to hesitate about the quality of Shine's Bomex sides. They're equal to, if not better than the original. Shine actually test fits and makes corrections to original aero parts, if needed, before they manufacture the mold.

Well these are Shine-copy bomex, but I am posting as an indication of quality. Any FRP part WILL need minor tweaks / finishing, but I was really happy with quality and fitment.

i liek ur trim desloth. do u have any installation pictures of the sides? i am really concerns about the sides since i have the rears from carfasion

I just had a quick look at the pictures in your other thread, and to be honest - I was expecting lots worse.
I'm not involved in bodywork / auto industry at all - but by the very nature of their manufacture NO FRP part will be perfect. There will always be trapped air etc.
Why couldn't the carfashion sides be tweaked slightly to fit? Wouldn't careful and precise removal of material where they are now cracked clearance them enough to fit snugly? Perhaps some more pictures or details would help - it is hard to see what the exact problem is in your pictures.

Just don't expect to buy any non-oem body parts and have them bolt on without adjustment.

look at my carfasion thread.. the are still too short in both directions. yes of course with alot of tweaking i can make it work, but i'll be practically remaking them myself.
I managed to kill 1 lip so far but going 100 and hitting a brick some asshole left o nthe road is bound to cause some damage
I would say that the Shine pieces are more favorable to own than the genuine equivalents

Beating a dead horse here. Just want to bring this thread back to life so I could ask a question. I just got my skirts in last week and I wanted to mock them up and see how they would fit. They don't look back just wondering about the mounting points. I see the screw placement in the front and back (in the wheel wells). One other question is with the front mud flap. Does this piece have to removed in order to put these on?
Also same with the type I front lip. I'm guess the side the bolts and then double side on the front??
