I'm going to paint my intererior (with SEM products) but I wasn't sure if I should use a glossy, or flat plastic/vinyl paint, and then use armour-all after. I like the glossy look of an armour-alled interior but I want it to look proper. Do the glossy paints looks like this, or do they look a bit cheesey and painted? Thanks

I've got a 2-tone interior set from Leatherseats.com, but I will install it during the winter when my bodywork is getting done and I can gut the interior, paint it, and install the leather. These photos I found on the net but my car will be pretty much identical except I chose a darker grey (graphite) and cherry seude leather. The headrest logos match the cherry, it just looks different in the avatar.

I'm using a flat vinyl type product on my car. I'm just spraying the inserts on the doors to be black. I'm also going to get the factory speaker grills on the doors recovered in black to match (I don't know why people paint these since that dampens the sound and defeats the purpose of using speaker grill mesh)

I'd have to see good looking painted interior before it gained my respect. That head rest in your avatar already has my respect.....LOVE IT......but is that seat red, with pink Supra lettering????

i thought my dash came out pretty damn nice.....

i painted all my interior and it turned out awesome i used duplicolor vinyl dye/paint for door panels, dash board etc. and i used krylon plastic paint for all the plastic parts, the only problem i have had is the arm rest is starting to wear off other than that it looks like it came black stock. unfortunatly i have no pics, just take your time and clean and prep everything and it works great

I used SEM paint on my interior. The only thing is that it doesn't work so well on the hard plastic parts, but the soft vinyl parts (dash, door panels, armrest, etc...) it works awesome.

OK, for some reason, stupid me thought you were painting on the nice seats in the avatar. This is how I learn...I post where I'm ignorant, and my subscription to the thread lets me keep up with it.

Nothing but Love for everything I've seen so far. But, FIGIT.........I'm not sure I'd change the tan interior. I personally hate tan, but it is rare. Tan could help if you ever try to sell.

Thanks, i wont now :D. i was wondering that a while back...i NEVER EVER EVER see tan interiors....they are always grey, blue, or ugly maroon. brand new i could see the red looking ok but once it fades you have something to paint :p. then again i've never seen it in person so who am i to talk.

i like my interior....its just not my favorite. plus it should be very hard to get dirty..... aside from some odd holes in my passenger seat (from lack of cusion on the side support?) the interior is perfect.....and its 20 years old.:aigo:

Blah for painting interiors--they always end up chipping. I plan on getting some gray/black sparco Torino's (sexy sexy seats) and then finding a shadow gray or even just dark gray interior out of another soup (carpet and all). Should look good

Invest in a some seat covers to match while u deside what to do about the fabric.

Thats what I am thinking about doing to my brown interior....
