Alright well I have a mk2 that I had fixed up a long time ago but it sits around now and I was thinking about taking the W58 out of it and putting it in my Mk3 since its automatic right now. My question is, are the connectors on the mk2 and mk3 w58's any different from eachother? Would I still need to get drive shafts or would I be able to switch them between the two? Are the speed sensors any different? Will the flywheel on the 5m bolt to the 7m crank? Anything else I should know? Thanks all very much!

BTW - I know I could find this all very easily by looking at the two cars but the Mk2 is in storage at my fathers house a ways away and wanted to know if the effort was worth driving a state away for... Thanks again!
