fog lights not working

my fog light never worked since i bought the car ...but last weekend i took them apart and hooked them up to the battery and they worked so obiously they are not getting power to the...is there a fuse ..switch that might be bad...also the low beam on the driver side didnt work so i put a new head light and it still doesnt work and its just the drivers side.....anybody had this problem before or have advice were to start checking ...thanks:1zhelp:

Does anything work on your car? ;) The fog lights are powered through the headlight circuit. You need a DVOM to check switches, or a test light. And the factory EWD will help tremendously.

wer would the the headlight circuit be located ????i got the dealer repair manual for the diagram ....

The factory electrical wiring diagram is the best. It contains the component locator for relays and other electrcial devices. And the wires in the EWD are color coded to match the color on the car.

The headlights share a common ground, so you probalby have lost power to that side. But it still could be a bad ground circuit.
