well i followed the instructions.. http://www.supras.com/06/techcenter/display.php?QID=41

or so i thought.. had only quickly jotted down the instructions and tried this tonight

after some puzzeling effects that only the headlights would light up and very low at that.. i was puzzeled stepped back grabbed my drink looked inside the car and the wires leading to the foglight was glowing red.. i quickly yanked them cussed and thought what the hell did i do wrong.. i had double ckd all the wires before i did anything then after cking the instructions again i had a wire reversed at the switch.. it reads as follows

3) SWITCH : pull the switch panel with the fog light switch away from the dash. It snaps right off. locate the third wire from the top (red / black). Cut this wire, tape off the dashboard end, and run a lead from the switch to
the third wire of the rear defogger switch (yellow). Splice your lead into this wire.

now i had wrote down red/green and sure enough there was a red/green wire now i have to wait to the am to correct the wires and get the plug from the wifes car.. god i feel like a big dumb ass and it pays really pays to read and double check what you do

flame suit on.

Buy an EWD book, and draw out the changes you're gonna make to the wiring in your car and figure out if it will do what you want it to before changing stuff.

Blindly following instructions isn't the greatest idea I've found ;).

Glad you realized your mistake though.

That's not much better IMO, not saying you don't know what you're doing, you do, but I'm not about to trust someone elses instructions when just doing stuff to my car, I want to know what I'm doing.

Maybe it's just me, lol, but in general, I don't trust random strangers on the internet :p.

I still say you should get an EPC for your car ;).

i corrected the issue, it was just odd there was a red/green wire there. the red/black that light up like a light since it gets cut i traced it to it's bllock at the fuse box and deleted it.

all is good now w/ the wiring and wired up only thing i did different was tapped the hot wire from the relay to my p&p turbo timer harness now there on when the cars on unless i turn off the switch. yes i do have a tsrm. a few for differnet years actually. when i wrote down the instructions i guess i was half asleep. No harm Jeff.. when it comes to wiring i am very good at it. havne melted a wire in a car since i was like 14 lol. i guess a 16year span needed to be broken.

I agree with you 100% jeff, I had some guy read my stupid joke about how you should throw your alternator away after you remove it and he pm'd me to see if i was serious. Remember kids, all electronics are powered by magic smoke. Once that smoke gets out, it won't work!
