Ok so,
with my plans for my rebuild i just had a quick question. Im not really interested in buying a FMIC but i just would like to know the recommended sizes or dimensions i should be looking for if i get a 57 trim or upraded CT

Is there such thing as getting too big?

yes

to big means he turbo has to work more to fill it up. That increases your lag.

The spearco model for the 1J series engines would be about perfect IMO.

The thing that has stopped me from going this route so far is the other steps:
- relocate battery to hatch
- move alternator down
- rebuild IC piping
- buy FFIM from Ron
- rebuild throttle linkage for FFIM

Don't be so cheap. You can run an upgraded CT26 on a stock IC. Save up for a while and buy a Spearco. Any other IC and you're going to have to make a custom IC pipe that runs from the driver's side to the passenger's side, which is much more pipe to fill up + the larger IC = a lot of lag

Good for up to 600bhp. all our intercooler has been tested to withstand more then 80 psi pressure and it has very small pressure drop across the end tanks, at 15psi inlet the out let has 14.8psi that means it has only 0.2 psi pressure drop ,compare to many other intercoolers it is an excellent figure (some intercooler has 1-2psi pressure drop) also at the same condition, the temperature has drop from 120 degree to 28 degree ( and it is an excellent figure for efficiency)

What are they testing at -5 degrees?
