Anyone else annoyed by all the flopping in the NBA the last few years. Its like any contact the player just falls over to get the call. Its sad to see a 7ft tall 230lb guy fall down like hes been shot, because someone brushed his chest.
Its become like international soccer/football. I cant stand watching soccer because of the flopping to get the calls.
When players setup plays knowing they are going to fall over just to get the call and free throws, its sad. Just go in and deal with the contact, if its too much contact allow the ref. to call the foul. I dont see the need to keep falling down, its slows down the game and turns it into a free throw contest not a basketball game.
I see it all the time when a defensive player setups to take a charge. You see the contact and then suddenly the players upper body goes flying back, its so practiced.
